Okay, the Hunt is on, and already a few pirate crews are sailing a wee bit ahead. That could change in an instant. Today is the first Treasure Hunt Quest. Here's your task.
Be the first one to zap over to author Christopher Hopper's blog. Read his latest article and then correctly answer the question below:
Who did Christopher Hopper run into at a local coffee shop? And what makes these people distinctive?
100 points for the first person to post the correct answer here.
If you miss out on the question, you can still earn 50 points! Just be one of the first 20 folks to read CH's new article, post a comment THERE, and then post a comment back HERE that proves you read his article.
NOTE: make sure you post HERE on this thread---not the original hunt thread.
And if you need the link to CH's site, well...this is a hunt. Go find it. ;-)
Never alone.

I win! The answer is Simon and Lisa Thomas, and they are significant for many things, including their unofficial world record of 105,000 miles ridden by a team of motorcycle drivers. Also, they have many stunning photographs from their rides of all over the world! That's 100 points, so my running total is:
440 points!
Sweet, Jconn. You win. But don't forget to comment over there.
And remember, the 1st 20 to leave comments over on CH's post, earn 50 points.
Congrats, Jconn!
I read his post! I just missed being the first. Oh well, second's pretty good too. :)
So that's 50 points! (I commented on his blog.)

oops forgot to say their names Lisa and Simon Thomas
Too bad I missed being first. Oh well. I commented on the blog, so that's fifty points! That would be really fun to travel the world by motorcycle.
I missed the question. :( But I did comment! 20 more points for me.

new Total ponits so far: 160
whoops, for commenting it's 50 points! Silly me. :D
So new total is 190.
Mr. Batson, did you get my email about joining? Because I am not listed in the participants.
He met Simon and Lisa Thomas, world travelers. They say the most memerable part of their travels is the people.
So I'm not the first but oh well. I get 50 points? That makes 610. And I'm glad that was the quest. It was a nice post by Mr. Hopper.
Ah, missed the question, but I commented.
50 points for me.
770+50=820 for me. ;)
Alright here's a link to my post.

Ah, I missed being first but I get fifty points.
Christoper Hopper met Simon and Lisa Thomas. They hold the Guiness book of World Records longest contiguous motorcycle ride. They're really down to earth people. They actually want to live life instead of letting it slip away. Plus they take great pictures!

This is all outstanding, but I see ONLY one comment on Christopher's article. Are they awaiting moderation? Usually they just pop right up.

I put up a comment on the post, but it's still awaiting moderation. http://www.christopherhopper.com/?p=577
The answer is Simon and Lisa Thomas who have many photos and videos from around the world and are in the Guinness Book of World Records for the longest contiguous motorcycle ride.
My score is now 730.
Christopher Hopper ran into Simon and Lisa Thomas and they are distinctive because they hold a world reacord of 105,000 miles on a motorcycle and they have many photographs from thier rides from across the world

I'm not sure if I'm one of the 20, but maybe.
I hope I'm not too late for this, but I already posted on Christopher Hopper's blog (it says it's awaiting moderation).

The answer is Simon and Lisa Thomas, who hold the world record for longest contiguous motorcycle ride, but who have spent the last several years traveling the world and meeting the people along the way.
I left a comment. The article is about Simon and Lisa Thomas and taking the next step in achieving your dreams.
Mine is still awaiting moderation, but I think it should be up soon.
Woops! We were supposed to answer that question even if we weren't the first to comment? (smacks forehead) If so, their names are Simon and Lisa Thomas! And it's weird that my comment is still waiting moderation! Someone wrote a comment AFTER me and it appeared first! Wow. (Why does it have to take so long?????)

Dunno where I'll fall in the lineup but I did comment on Christopher Hopper's blog. He met Simon and Lisa Thomas at the coffee shop. And he met them at the risk of a ticket since he was out of quarters.
Ok, I'm number 19 to comment, only one spot left! (I counted) That gives me 50 points, so my running total is: 690 points!
I didn't get to be the first to comment. :( But here is a link to my comment.

BTW I was anonymous when I entered the contest. I explained that I was Sebie though. I just made an account today so I could comment today.
Ok, we have our 20 who qualified for the 50 points! Excellent questing.
Be on the lookout for another quest soon!
