I wonder what it could be? But then I suppose you would have told us if you wanted us to know about it right away...
Also, because it's our duty to watch that word-count meter as if our lives depended on it:
Perhaps a band of tiny pirates have kidnapped you or you simply forgot to update yesterdays word-count... ...You do have one don't you Mr. B? We're counting on you... We'll all go stark raving mad if you don't keep on writing!
