Movie Update...so far, so good.

No, it's not quite time to reserve your seat and order a bucket of popcorn, but the initial news from California are good. I just got word that the producer is reading The Door Within while he's on vacation. Initial returns are strong. He said he's half way through The Door Within and said he loves it, so far.

Please keep praying.

Me too. This is keeping me on the edge of my seat and on my toes. If it makes it, I'm gonna scream so loud it will wake the neighborhood. Well, I don't think I could yell that loud. lol. And the producer is in California, hmmm. Maybe, just maybe....hmmm..this is looking good. I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!

Sweet!

You know popcorn sounds really good about now.

*wonders if he should reserve the seats and order the popcorn bucket anyways.*

I'll be praying.

Praying harder...

Really, these books are great reads, and they seem like they'd transfer well to the screen. Of course he's loving it.

YES YES YES!!!!!!!!!!!!

i am amazed at how great God is..even if the movies are not made, this producer could come to know the Father for the first time or in a new way by reading the allegory that is The Door Within

i am continuing to pray!!

Wow... I really am praying that the movie becomes a reality. I'm rereading The Rise of the Wyrm Lord for a second time (my favorite of the books.. b/c Antionette) What's wierd is that my friend and I were just discussing how much of a great film these books would make. Hey.. if those books could get my once atheist friend interested in Christianity, I would love to see the wonders it would do for others! You know Antionette reminds me of my friend Jess though without all the black, my friend tends though to wear black anime shirts a lot, and has dyed red hair, man maybe she could be a possible Antionette. Wierdly I imagined Antionette to wear gothic loita (Japanese fashion). Anyways, I'm going off topic, I can't wait to hear more news. Hopefully it happens!!!!

With all the comments like these, it would be really heartbreaking and ironic if the movie was not made....not GOOD, but ironic. And definitely heartbreaking.

Hmmm, it's like you all EXPECT the movie to be made.....:). No, I'm not being a sourpuss or spoil-whatever, I hope the movies are made too.

GOOD NEWS! I FINALLY got some of the Door Within books from my library - the second and third ones, to be exact. It will be wierd reading them out of order, but I'm just reading the second one now, and it seems to stand pretty well on its own. And it is really good!

Ever since I've read The Door Within trilogy, it was kind of a dream of mine that it would be made into movies! If it's the Lord's will, I really, really, really hope this all works out. The Door Within trilogy is my favorite book series, and it looks like it's going to be my favorite movie series, too!!! I'm so excited!

I think it would be sooooooo awesome if the Door Within became a movie, but the movie is never as good as the book! I would love to act as Gwenne or Anntiontte! That would be so awesome!

Ooo, you guys are right. We should be praying for God's will to be done, whether or not the movie will be made or not. Personally, I hope the movie will be made. I'm seriously about to scream and am anxious for any news. (constantly having to quote Philippians 4:6-7 to myself) I'm constantly checking this sight for news, even though I purposely told myself to wait a week before checking it. I've never been this excited about anything before. Praying my heart out.....

I've never done this before so I'm sorry if it's a little weird but I have to say, I read all three books and they are my absolute favorites and whenever I'm scared I always find my self say never alone and it's so wonderful that there is a chance that this book will be a movie, I will continue to pray and thank you so much for writing these books.

a movie? Did I hear the word movie? WOW THAT WOULD BE SO TOTALLY AWESOME! I would love to act as Gwenne and/or Antoinette! That would be so cool!
-everyone's right, it is God's will. The movies would be a great witness to those who don't know the Lord. The world needs more movies with allegory.
