Isle of Fire...Are You Ready?

Isle of Fire (Final Cover Image Below) will be released in the U.S. the first week of September, and I am stoked about it. If feels like forever since I finished the last edits--very different from previous books which came out three months after edits.

Isle of Fire is going to turn the whole pirate genre on its head. You'll meet a new villain who would frighten even Bartholomew Thorne (if he still lived, that is). Ancient pirates will return from legend to wreak havoc on the seas. And young Cat will face a war within.

And, if you thought the Isle of Swords Treasure Hunt was a blast, just wait until I announce the Isle of Fire Treasure Hunt.

Tons of prizes and an adventure your not soon to forget!

Oh, and remember that announcement I promised a month ago? Well, check back often. I have HUGE news!

I almost think it's hilarious that the words 'Huge News' spark more interst than a sweet cover. It deffinitly looks like the isle of fire. Nice job.

Hmm, should I throw chum on the all ready churning waters? I see dorsal fins and the sleek circling forms of fans .. .ah why not ;)

Isle of Fire is better than Isle of Swords, I can say that and mean it because. . . I've read it.

There's more action

more adventure
more drama
more danger
more ships

...as well as old friends and new enemies.

Add to that enough twists and turns through the plot to make your head spin and your heart lurch and you have one explosive read that will leave you panting as you turn the final page.

If you like Treasure Island and Captain Blood you are going to adore this book. And if you've never read Treasure Island by Robert Lewis Stevenson or Captain Blood by Rafael Sabatini this summer would be a grand time to brush up on pirate lore, and then get ready for a rip-roaring ride in Isle of Fire.

Oh ho!
Now THIS is what I like to see!

I had commented a while back on your original cover. I believe the article was on 'Book Covers' and which one was our favorite.

I had recommended a higher sense of danger, as it seemed a bit flat. (The old cover that is. You know, the one with the houses on fire. Woohoo.) I recall saying,
'This is the Isle of Fire no?'

You sure amped it up with the battle in the sea between (I assume.) the new enemy and our old heroes. (Maybe our old foes in there too, hmm?) The sheer sense of A) fire and B) peril sure exclaims itself.

In midst of all the positive, I have one knawing gripe. The fire right below the title seems a bit... how do I put this... cartoonish? (In a bad way i'm afraid...) Now I haven't viewed it at full screen, (Slow internet is INFURIATING!) but it just annoys me off a bit.

But by all means, this is a great cover. Door Within still beats it, (Nothing's good as the first. Well as far as front covers are concerned.) but the marked improvements are there.

Great Job! (By the way, I'm a bit late in posting. So I'll just say... get to work on that new fantasy novel! Write 2,000, not 1,000! Nah, i'm kidding. Take your time. A work rushed is a work spoiled! ;) )
