Eight Fantasy Authors. One Story.

What would happen if you took 8 published fantasy authors and turned them loose to write a story together? The phrase "dangerous minds" seems applicable.

Well, that's just what we've done. The 8 Authors of the Motiv8 Fantasy Fiction Tour are writing a story together. And best of all, it's free for you to read. For now anyway. Heh, heh, heh.

This tale will be cumulative effort written in serial form, meaning: a little at a time. If you'd like to check it out (please do), click on the link below or visit the Motiv8 site and click on the "Group Fiction" link.

If you read the story, leave a comment to let us know what you think.

Never alone.

Pretty cool. Reminds me of a form of story telling on my favorite message board where someone starts a story and then other people continue it.

P.S. It's been five days since I've seen a word count update. The agony, the agony!

Thanks, Paris and BD!

And, SJ, yeah, that's exactly what this is like. But I have to say, I'm very intrigued to see where all these "whacked" authors will take the story. lol And btw, I've been doing a little writing, but I've had to take a break to go back to the outlining. My publisher has requested the outlines for all 7 books. So I've needed to flesh them out a little better for others to read an understand. No plank walking for me! ;-)

Shyeloh, I'd say both! And Jon, that's what I think too! And who know, if the story's any good, maybe we can publish it together! Of course, you'll all get to read the first draft free. ;-)

By the way, if you visit the story site, leave a comment. Let us know what you think.

Never alone.

LOL sounds like a round robin to me ;) Nothing better than bouncing ideas off one another and skewing the tale into a extraordinary corkscrew of adventures, exploits of daring do, and desperate ventures!

I'll have to check it out.

Once I started reading the part you wrote, Mr. Batson, I recognized your writing! I'm gonna try and guess Mrs. Paul's too, since I haven't read books by the other authors yet.

Off topic, can't be a raving mad word count captain ordering you around all the time so I'm delighted to see that you've updated your word count again.

On topic, the story is getting more and more interesting with each addition!

From what I've read so far, I really like it!!! I hope you do publish it. But the author names would take up most of the front cover :)
