A Newbie's Guide to Publishing: Peerfest

A Newbie's Guide to Publishing: Peerfest
This is a link to my friend JA Konrath's blog. He is a mystery writer in the Janet Evanovich/Robert Crais vein and a very nice guy. He, more than anyone I've ever met, studies the business side of publishing. His site (while it may contain some less that favorable language from some of the posters) is a TREASURE of insight for new authors and authors to be.

HI, this is tessae, and my comment isn't really about the post either. I guess I kind of jumped in to this before I knew anything about it, and I'm wondering if you can tell me where to go to find out more about csff.

Hi, Wayne!
Thanks for the excellent comment on my blog post about prayer. I just found it (okay, that's how scattered and disorganized I am...I keep forgetting to check back for comments).

I opened The Door Within today (I turned in my editorial revisions on Restorer's Son this morning) and was captivated by the first page..."Adventures are funny things..." SUCH a delightful way to welcome us in to the story.

BLESSINGS!

Hi, StarJewel!

I'm kind of new to this blogging arena, but so far, I've discovered lots of great CSFF sites. Try one of these:

http://www.dkamagazine.com/
http://theswordreview.com/contents.php
http://www.christianscififantasycentral.com/
http://csffblogtour.com/

Warm regards,

Sharon,

I really appreciate your words on prayer and on how easy it is to try to rely on self. You seem like one of those tender-hearted folks I might meet and just KNOW that you're a Christian. There's a "glow-in-the-dark" quality about you.

Thanks so much for giving The Door Within a look. About the "Adventures are funny things Intro--I had a Tolkienesque experience with that. JRR told about a time while grading exams, I guess at Oxford, he stopped on a blank page in the exam booklet and wrote, "In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit." The sentence just showed up in his mind and he wrote it down.

When I sat down to begin The Door Within, I knew I wanted to open with something about adventures. I thought, what?

And there it was: Adventures are funny things...
