"It's the most wonderful time of the year. There'll be scary ghost stories and tales of the glories of Christmases long, long ago..."
Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" has haunted our home pleasantly since 1843. This year, I wrote a modern retelling of that classic redemption tale. And really, that's what it's all about: redemption.
Have you ever "blown it" with God? Ever felt like God can't forgive you because (fill in the blank)? Ever felt like you were beyond hope? If so, this is the story for you. Available in Paperback and on Kindle (can be used on any device with the Kindle app), "A Christian's Carol" is a story for all of us ragamuffins.
Here's a sampling of what reviewers are saying about "A Christian's Carol" so far:
"I appreciated the plot twists because they kept the story from being predictable. The one in the graveyard scene I never saw coming."
" Like the original, sometimes the scenes hit close to home and force you to look in the mirror! It can be painful and uncomfortable, but if we heed the lessons Ebenezer learns, we will become more like the one who is the source of the Christmas holiday."
"A creative re-telling of A Christmas Carol, this book is challenging, encouraging, and moving. Probably one of the best books I’ve read on what learning to live out grace really means."
