The Door Within Movie: Prayer is THE thing!
In the last WEEK, I've had a dozen or more emails, IM's, posted comments, etc. asking about the possibility of The Door Within (my first book) being made into a movie. Maybe God is on the move because, just this past WEEK, I've had some VERY preliminary discussions on that very possibility. But here's the thing: a Door Within movie is still a million miles away from happening. These are just the very first, tentative, eency weency steps. So, my prayer warriors out there: Pray. Tell your friends: Pray. eMail your Prayer Chains to: Pray. Seriously, this isn't the time to go crazy with movie thoughts. But DO go crazy with prayer. Much love and thanks to you!

Whoo-hoo! So exciting!
Ever since I read the Door Within Series, I've thought about how awesome it would be if it was actually made into a movie. Which is why I am stoked that you are strongly thinking about it Mr.Batson.
I hope and pray that God leads you to what is best! I'm telling every one of my friends to pray for you and this decision!

I'll be praying!! BTW, thanks for mentioning the prayer warriors. That makes me feel special...
That would be soooo cool! They need more good movies out there on the movie market. Will be praying for this opportunity!
Thank you so much for just posting this update. You reminded me of my dreams.
I would love for The Door Within to become a movie!!! I'll be praying that everything goes the way it should.
I'm praying! :) I hope it does happen. The Door Within is EPIC.
...I also hope Isle of Swords will be next. :D
TOTALLY YES!!!!! I hope it has almost all the same stuff as the book, otherwise it would just be a waste of time.
WOW!! I will pray hard!
That would definitely be great. I am one who gets mad if a book is changed when made into a movie, but I understand that a movie is not and cannot be a book. I'll be praying for you.
Praying!! I soooo hope that this works!!! :D:D These are some of my favorite books EVER!! :D

Never Alone!
Will Pray!
Never Alone, Sir Batson!
I'll definitely pray for you! I would have liked to be the one to make to movie adaptation, but I guess that's not God's will. :)

I'll be praying for you! This is so exciting! May God help you in this decision.
I REALLY REALLY want this to happen. I have since day one of reading The Door Within. IT IS EPIC!!!! But, I have my own dreams of what The Realm looks like and what the characters look like and I worry they won't live up to my expectations. And I am sure you feel the same way, wanting to see your world come alive the way you made it. And I am sure each of your fans feels this way. I will be praying that if it be God's will it will come to be the way He wants. Also, I think it would be an AMAZING testimony to the lost so, Let God's Will Be Done!!!
That would be EPIC!!!
Here, I do not actually think this is likely to have success.
That's so exciting!!! I'll definitely be praying!
Do you have any idea who you would pick to b gwenne, or is it gwen? anyway, she's my favorite! i'll tell my friends and we'll all be praying for u!
Will be praying :)
Ever since I first read our first book around 17ish years old I fell in love with it.
Although I'm only 21 and have yet to finish collage I have been hoping that a movie of this book would come out regardless of who made it as long as it was good! Then I swore that after I get my director in film degree if the book is not a movie by the time I was 30ish I would set out to make it haha. Although it is still a dream and there is a long road ahead I do hope it gets made into a movie that rivals something like Lord of the Rings in quality!
Best wishes and prayers
David
