Book News!

Book News for Fantasy Readers:

Eric Reinhold's new book: Shield of Faith, sequel to his amazing debut, Ryann Waters and the King's Sword, has just released! Eric has a passion for the Lord and a passion for a tale well-told, so if you're in the market for something new, check it out. If you're a parent or a teacher, I can tell you this is exactly the type of story you want for your kids: Male and Female Protagonists, Multicultural Heroes, Danger and Adventure without Gore and over-the-top violence, and a message that can't be beat. See the sidebar for Amazon links to both books! Go get'em! Check out the back cover below.

Like a few pictures in your books? Check out
a sample of the amazing artwork that you'll
find in Shield of Faith!

In other news: TitleTrakk.com has just kicked of their Hype-Machine for Christopher Hopper and my book: Berinfell Prophecies Book 1: Curse of the Spider King. Check out the article by clicking this link!

Also, we've opened the official Berinfell Prophecies Website. Big things to come there in the future. For now, it's just a landing page, but check it out and let us know what you think.

Also, we've moved the release date for Spider King to Oct. 4th! A month ahead of schedule. Woot!

Exciting! Can't wait to read TCotSK!

Mr. Batson, I am writing a fantasy novel that I plan on publishing when I finish it. I have an editor critiquing it, but she's not a fantasy author, and isn't too familiar with the genre. Since you are not only a PUBLISHED fantasy author, but your books are also bestselling, (and they're my favorite!), I was wondering if would be possible for you to read my first chapter. I posted it on The Door Within forum, under stories, with the title "Betrayed". If this isn't possible, I understand, but if it is, I would GREATLY appreciate it!

~ Your biggest fan! =)

are you still accepting banners?

I just saw that Isle of Fire jumped back on the CBA Young Adult best-seller chart at #3! That's better than it has ever been, right?

Can't wait for Curse of the Spider King!

Thanks for the headsup, Cson! I had no idea Isle of Fire was doing so well.

And Joraiem, sorry, my friend, but the banner contest is over for entries.

And thanks Patrick, Elizabeth, RPH, SwordWarrior, Brianna,Flinn, Mariel,Prism and Earwen! You all are very encouraging!

Brianna, unfortunately, I can't agree to look at manuscripts--even first chapters--right now. Check back with me in July in August. I'm just slammed right now.

Mr. Batson,
Totally understand... I'll check back with you later, thank you!
Meanwhile, do you have any suggestions for someone who can critique my work... or suggestions for how to find someone??

Looks great! It was fun hearing you and Christopher banter back in forth in the van while in the midst of writing the beginning chapters! Eric

Eric Reinhold said...

Oh! Thanks for the plug on my book as well! Eric

The guys on your cover remind me of the "Spider-Elves" I have in an older fantasy novel I did a few years ago called "A World Within," though it's still on submission...cool. Can't wait to read it.

where is the website?

The website was closed a while back due to hacking and difficulty of upkeep. There is an "Elven Underground" page on Facebook now. You can search it, I think.
