Last year's Tribebuilding Contest for Curse of the Spider King was a HUGE success! We had six active tribes who worked together to do some absolutely amazing things! Venom & Song, book 2 of The Berinfell Chronicles will ship to stores beginning June 9th, so in honor of Book 2's release Christopher Hopper and I are launching:

This year's contest will use the same general rules as last year's contest, but with a few major changes:
5. Amazon Blitz, coming soon, so do NOT order Venom and Song just yet. If you order ON THE BLITZ DAY, it will mean ridiculous points for your Tribe! I mean OUTRAGEOUS, IMPOSSIBLY LARGE Numbers! WOOT.
Tribebuilding Contest 2
This year's contest will use the same general rules as last year's contest, but with a few major changes:
1. Tribe can earn GINORMOUS points for Creative Open Category Projects! It will vary by concept. Just propose an idea, and I'll tell you how many points will be offered.
2. Last year, we had six of the seven tribe names taken. If those tribes want to participate again, please let me know immediately so we can secure the Tribe Name for you. Additional tribes can create their own tribe name.
3. Tribe must be at least 14 people, not 21 like last year.
4. Tribes need not be geographically close in location to each other, but it helps when we plan the private book party.
5. Amazon Blitz, coming soon, so do NOT order Venom and Song just yet. If you order ON THE BLITZ DAY, it will mean ridiculous points for your Tribe! I mean OUTRAGEOUS, IMPOSSIBLY LARGE Numbers! WOOT.

How about access to a special "Member's Only" Website full of Berinfell Lore, original Desktop art, games, and more!

With my fall semester finished, I can finally catch up with the tribe contest. First question, have you received any emails from the librarian at North Wales Library about the free copies of your newest book? I emailed her but with the ongoing move process which my library has been going through. It's been a challenge to keep in contact with her and keep her updated with matters related to things besides preparation for moving the book stock to our new building. I actually work there and am still finding it difficult to contact her.
If you did receive notice from her, be sure to add the appropriate points to the tribe I'm part of, the Silvertree Tribe Consecro Tribe.
With a month of free time, be prepared for even more completed tasks to follow.
Other assignments I completed that are worth some points are including a review of your newest release upon my blog:(http://fantastyfreak.blogspot.com/2009/11/curse-of-spider-kingthe-berinfell.html) In addition, I joined the newly formed forum and my username happens to be the standard "fantastyfreak."

I can give you contact information for Yodeling Dwarf, leader of Nightwing, but are you sure you wish to join them? They are stationed on the West Coast, no matter what the party will be held in Idaho if they win. If you live near there by all means join them! Dwarf's email is: yodelingdwarf@gmail.com
Now, if you live on the east coast Silvertree is the tribe for you. Our party will be given as a vote and as most member live on the east coast there's a Sure chance of it being there.

Hey Benjamin!
I'm the leader of the Nightwing tribe. The reason you couldn't find us is... our base is hidden to keep spies from discovering our secrets. :P We'd love to have you. What Nathan says is true; if Nightwing wins, the party will be in the Washington/Idaho/Montana area, whereas if Nathan's tribe wins the party would most likely be in the Kentucky/Tennessee/Virginia area.

Um, Mr. Batson? Sorry - I'm a little confused. =) Are we giving 20 copies away or 25 copies? Because, it says we've given away 18, so only 2 are left. But, wouldn't 7 be left, because we're giving away 25?
Not sure if you've joined a tribe or not yet Benjamin, but if not, I will go ahead and introduce my tribe! I am the leader of Swiftstorm. I live in Florida. Our tribe has a different approach at the game though. If we won the prize, then the person with the most points would get to choose where the party will be. How can I sign up???? I want ot do this but I am not sure how to get into a tribe since I don't know anyone around where I live that reads these books... I am not sure how exactly to do this but I would LOVE to be a part!!
