August 8th is the Official Release Date for
Isle of Swords
I hope readers of The Door Within Trilogy will enjoy
my venture into a new genre. I'm currently working on the
sequel to Isle of Swords. After that, God willing, its
back to fantasy in a BIG way.

They look AWESOME! I look forward to the release of Isle of Swords. Hehe, hopefully by them I'll have read at least the first book in The Door Within trilogy :)
I'm quivering with anticipation right now! It looks so fantastical! :-)

Pure awesomeness!!!

;) Somehow m'lord I have a hunch that there's some fantasy in Isle of Swords too. Call it a gut feeling. It's just not 'high fantasy' which isn't really my thing anyway.
I think WTB said there would be a touch of fantasy in IOS.

Oooh! Shiney!!!
It looks REALLY good!
I plan to have read the whole Door Within Trilogy by then ((If I can get it from the bookstore <_<))
So, I will pick up Isle of Swords when it comes out! seeing as I already have an August bookstore visit planned!
That's such a beautiful cover. It must be awesome to see the fruits of your hard work.
And I always thought pirate stories was considered to be fantasy. I know "PoC" is.
I can't wait until August. We've got this, the next Buffy Season Eight comics, the new Gilda Joyce book, the new book by Stephenie Meyer...
Can't forget July though, double the Harry Potter fun with movie 5 and book 7.
Oh wow I love reading.
Congratulations. Cover looks great. Appreciate you popping by Bloggin' Outloud as well. Best wishes on the tour. Lyn
this summer, book releases are so great. Add in Dragonfire, Enoch's Ghost, HP Book 7, and Isle of Swords. Looks like this summer I will be broke.
You do realize that you'll have to set up an IoS website now, don't you? ;-)
Ooo - Brett - great idea! I can hear the ching of metal on metal, as we peruse the pages of Isle of Swords!
For some reason, the shiny gold lettering seems very WTB-ish. After all, The Door Within Trilogy books on my shelf all have metallic lettering. But gold is - well, just cool!
Congratulations!
BTW - I've always viewed pirate stories as Fantasy/Adventure. Pirates usually have some crazy, other-worldly explainations for all kinds of happenings. The adventure part is pretty obvious.
I think all great Fantasy stories have adventure at their heart. Where would Aidan and Antoinette be without a desperate quest?
Gorgeous cover, Wayne! I love it!
Wow, I can't wait for the book! And I'm already excited for the sequel!!!!!
Thanks, all. I'm positively stoked! Working on the sequel for IoS right now--very big things in store for you all...
Heh, heh, heh

Awesome!
I'm telling God thank you on your behalf. :-)
I'm delighted for you1!!
