Isle of Swords is FINISHED!!

As of seven minutes ago, I typed out the last line of Isle of Swords. It grew into something much bigger and much more powerful than I ever imagined it would. God has a way of delivering surprises.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
And I pray for some good R&R time for you.
do you get postpartum depression? I usually have a rough patch when I finish each manuscript - kind of like when I used to do theatre and a play would close.

BLESSINGS!

Tina, Thanks so much for the encouragement! Isle of Swords will be out early summer--unless, of course, the edits take a long time! lol

And Sharon, Thanks for the congrats. I must say that I don't really experience a letdown after "birthing" a manuscript. I actually feel unbelievably euphoric!! The letdown comes when my editors send back my first round of edits, and I see how much work I still have left to do. lol

Mr. Batson,

Just to let you know I can't wait to read your new book, Isle of Swords. The preview was very intriguing, and I am so excited - more excited than I have ever been for a book release! I will be anxiously awaiting it.

I can't wait to start reading 'The Isle of Swords' it's gonna be sooo cool. I've fianally found a fantasy book that won't have all the yucky stuff like fortune telling and voodoo. Thank YOU Wayne. May God Bless You.

Me again, thank you Wayne for providing us with books that are healthy to read. I've been obsessed with reading for as long as I can remember. I also love to write stories and, not meaning to brag, but I am very talented in that area aswell. Do you have any tips for me?

Hi, Lisa

You actually found an old post. Isle of SWORDS has been out now for a year. The sequel to that book is called Isle of FIRE, and it just released last week.

Thanks for the kind words and enjoy the piratey adventures!

Mr. Batson,
Are you going to write a sequel to the isle of fire? The second book was amazing, and I am hoping that there would be another book in the series.
