It seems all these talented musicians originate from Holland or the Netherlands. Delain, Within Temptation, and Epica are all from the general area.

Interestingly enough, I happened to attend an Epica concert at the end of last month. In addition to meeting the band, including the widely talented singer Simone Simmons, I happened to have this band recommended to me. This has been on my Ipod as result for a few weeks afterwords and I'm pleasantly surprised that you interviewed the vocalist and even mentioned them on your blog.

Additionally, I can relate with being heavily inspired by this genre of music's rich sound. In my case, entire scenes within my story are brought to life by some of Kamelot's songs. One song in specific even has the character's exact thoughts mirrored by the emotion expressed in Roy Khan's sonorous voice. (I have tickets bought for their North American tour this September.)

Wow, I'm finding it hard to contain myself. I am far too obsessed with this genre of music. I cannot wait to see your write up about Theocracy. Their music is truly something to marvel.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11767924119613122471noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19752207.post-3304307996280476582010-02-08T00:18:37.377-05:002010-02-08T00:18:37.377-05:00I am more of a Third day fan, or some such thing. ...I am more of a Third day fan, or some such thing. I'll be looking into their music... very cool if you managed to have them make music for a movie of yours, Mr. Batson. :)

By the way, any update on the finding someone to make a movie out of your books?

-whisperAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19752207.post-53759021404778754372010-02-04T14:02:10.703-05:002010-02-04T14:02:10.703-05:00There's nothing like a good song to help a wri...There's nothing like a good song to help a writer out. :)
Though I personally prefer softer and sincerely emotional songs.Storm Marie Whitehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05440730806276007105noreply@blogger.com
