Once, I was in the middle of a very good book (the boxcar children, I think. *this was a very long time ago) so I was reading it in between the words in our spelling test at school and well, let's just say my teacher was not thrilled. ;D I also would read, even though I would get sick from doing it, in the car because some book was soo good.

I read the Isle of Swords in two days because I was savoring it. During our school's graduation I was sooo tempted to read it (but I didn't and listened to the message instead.)

I found The Door Within at my school's library and read it in a day and a half and was absolutely devastated that they didn't have the other ones! So I asked around and found that one of my friends had them and borrowed them and I read them in about four or five days.

Yeah, they're that good.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19752207.post-40678265436495760382008-05-06T21:21:00.000-05:002008-05-06T21:21:00.000-05:00I'm a "speed reader" i.e. I read so much that I do...I'm a "speed reader" i.e. I read so much that I don't have to "decode" words anymore...I just recognize them and read on. I forgot to eat anything besides scones (which I now crave every time I re-read TDW), then ended up staying awake until about 11:30 that night to finish the book. I have a lot of friends over blogging I'd love to meet up with. We have this cool little group called the YCF (Young Christian Force) where are all a bunch of friends that spreads Jesus all over the internet. We have fourteen members right now and out locations range from the U.S. to Canada, so it is kind of hard. I don't really know how long it took me to finish it, but I do remember finishing it on the way to go get our christmas tree in about the year 2006, i think. I couldn't rest until I had the other two. This caused some eyebrows raised I'm sure, when, asking my dad to order them, he asked if I had read the other 2 and I said I hadn't, but the first book was so awesome that I was sure the others were as well.
